Sjava drops ‘Isibuko’: Here is the tracklist
The former Ambitiouz Entertainment talent returned to the music fold on Friday to gift fans an 18-track project filled with lush Afro-Soul sounds and top-tier guest appearances.
On Isibuko, which draws parallels between reflections of society and his pseudonym, which, ironically, in isiZulu, means ‘mirror’, Sjava takes fans down a journey of introspection.
On tracks like Time and My Life featuring Emtee and Lolli Native, Sjava lets fans deeper into his psyche and the traumas he survived on his path to maturation.
The rich sonics of Isibuko cut him well above the casual fan stuck in his past creations. Sjava no longer makes music for the masses. Rather, he draws inspiration from his life experiences and expresses them over luxuriant instrumentation fitting for his position in South Africa’s entertainment hierarchy.

Read this notice from the South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) before you consider pirating the album from online bootleg sites like Fakaza:
Music piracy stunts careers, stifles talent and eats away at the ability of composers and recording artists to continue making the great music that is the soundtrack to our lives. Music piracy also takes bread off the tables of the thousands of people who work in music-related fields – from authors and composers of musical works, recording artists, to record company employees, studio producers, sound engineers and music retailers.
