On Sunday, Eskom confirmed in a statement that loadshedding would resume at a pattern of Stage 3 between 05:00 and 16:00 and Stage 4 from then until 05:00 the next day.
The heightened loadshedding pattern, the power utility explained, was necessary “to manage emergency reserves.” While changes are likely to occur, the national electricity supplier stated that the loadshedding schedule will follow this pattern until Friday, 8 December 2023.
“Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur,” the power utility confirmed.
