Eskom has published an outlook of the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 15 January 2024.

Here’s the loadshedding schedule starting Monday, 15 January 2024

On Sunday, after a whirlwind of adjustments, Eskom finally rested on kicking off the new week with a permanent Stage 3 loadshedding.
In a statement, the struggling utility explained that “due to the slight improvement in generation performance and the adequate emergency reserves for the week ahead, loadshedding would tentatively be sustained at a single stage until Thursday, 18 January 2024.
“Eskom will continue to monitor the power system closely and communicate should any significant changes occur.,” the statement read.
As of Wednesday, 17 January 2024, breakdowns amounted to:
- 14 894MW – up 1 445MW from Monday, 15 January 2024
- 8 336MW – down 47MW from Monday, 15 January 2024
