The Solana-directed visual sets SZA in a psychedelic mushroom forest while she shares an impassioned dance in nature.
The artist also gives a tease of unreleased track Shirt, revealing her majestic pole dancing skills while set in a library. All aligned with the artist’s ardent and hedonistic nature.
Good Days is the b-side of Hit Different featuring Ty Dolla $ign (also self-directed) and was dropped as a Christmas surprise last year.
By February 2021 the song was certified platinum, selling more than one million units in only a span of two months. Yes, that’s the SZA effect.
When are we getting the album?
With major built-up suspense, SZA fans are waiting for the highly-anticipated 2017 Ctrl follow-up album. SZA sat down with Cosmopolitan this year and spoke on Ctrl saying:
“The subject matter, I guess ended up seeming like this highly curated journey through female adolescence and adulthood,”
This time around she’ll deliver something different. “This album is going to be the shit that made me feel something in my (heart and gut),” she said.
“That’s what’s going to go on the album. I’m making all different types of shit every day from different places in my spirit.”
