Fans of the Joe Budden Podcast who’ve been tuned in since the beginning may have seen it coming but, on Wednesday, the worst-case scenario became reality.
The Joe Budden Podcast is over
Episode 437 of the JBP was uploaded on its respective streaming platforms, but only for a while before, in a wicked way, it disappeared.
However, keyboard wizards were agile and a dubbed version of the episode was leaked shortly after the attempted clean-up. In the two-hour-long rant, Budden made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that his co-hosts Rory McFarrell and Jamil ‘Mal’ Clay were no longer part of the podcast.
In fact, Budden’s exact words to Rory were:
“Rory, you are in breach of your contract and from this point forward, you’re fired and you’re not welcome back!”
Tensions within the group, according to the retired rapper, were brought on by Rory and Mal who continuously probed Budden about the show’s dealings.
The pair apparently wanted more transparency on the ongoings of the show’s finances and as Budden put it, Rory and Mal called for the Joe Budden Network to be audited.
