This CCTV footage, made public by the judge, captures a scuffle and foot chase following an alleged incident in a vehicle.
The video reveals a tense situation on a relatively empty New York City street, where Majors and Jabbari are seen outside an SUV, engaged in what appears to be a heated conversation.
The situation escalates as Majors attempts, unsuccessfully, to push Jabbari into the Escalade. He then flees the scene, with Jabbari pursuing him.
This pursuit continues for several blocks before Majors eventually outruns Jabbari. The footage later shows Jabbari interacting with a group of people on the street who console her.
The two eventually part ways, with Majors spending the night at a hotel and Jabbari heading to a nightclub.
Further adding to the case, body-camera footage viewed in court shows officers finding Jabbari in a closet inside Majors’ Manhattan apartment the next morning. Jabbari, forced to watch this footage in court, broke down in tears.
Defence attorneys have focused on details from the night, including surveillance video of Jabbari at a Manhattan bar after the alleged attack and questions about her drinking habits.
In her testimony, Jabbari claimed that Majors attacked her in a car after she took his phone, suspecting infidelity.
Majors’ defence team has challenged Jabbari’s account, suggesting she may have been the aggressor.
The trial has also delved into Majors’ demanding nature, with prosecutors citing an instance where he allegedly told Jabbari to emulate Coretta Scott King and Michelle Obama.
As the trial progresses, the defence is set to present its case, providing further insights into the incident’s details and the nature of the relationship between Majors and Jabbari.
