Donald ‘Childish Gambino’ Glover has surprised fans with a brand new album titled 03.15.20.
This comes a week after the American artist hosted a live stream of the album on his website, with very little information to accompany it.
On Sunday, fans all around the world, many of which are in quarantine due to the coronavirus outbreak, were treated with a wonderful surprise when digital streaming platforms published a link to the official album.
The title of the album is a date, a specific point in time, and the titles of each track are timestamps. The enigmatic and mysterious Childish Gambino persona has not offered an explanation behind the bizarre nature of the album’s release.
However, fans with in-depth knowledge on the This Is America star claim that “the titles refer to time stamps across the singular narrative.”
“Donald (Childish Gambino) released a mythic note on his website attached to the album about the death of his father, our current world, a child, and time,” one fan wrote.

It is not conventional for artists to release albums on Sunday. The reason for this, of course, we will never know.
That’s just the thing about Gambino. You get what you get from him, however he offers it. One thing is for certain, though, the offering will be much-needed.
03.15.20 is available to purchase or stream on all digital streaming platforms (DSP) and features unlisted guest appearances from artists like Grammy Award-winning rapper 21 Savage.
