R&B crooner Brent Faiyaz lathered Friday release day with thick globs of toxicity extracted from his brand new album Wasteland.
Brent Faiyaz drops ‘Wasteland’: Here’s the tracklist
Faiyaz, real name Christopher Brent Wood, returned to the music fold with his second offering, a 19-track masterpiece polluted with raunch and perversive references that will surely challenge Drake-inspired captions.
On this album, Faiyaz does not bat an eyelash in his journey into the depths of misogyny. His writing, almost reckless at times, is polarising and conjures a reaction.
On Wasteland, Faiyaz invited cameos from:
- Tyler, The Creator and DJ Dahi on Gravity;
- Alicia Keys on Ghetto Gatsby;
- Drake and The Neptunes on Wasting Time;
- Joony on FYTB; and
- Tre’ Amani on Addictions

Fan reactions to Brent Faiyaz’s new album
Fans of the R&B star have waited with bated breath for the album to drop, and, finally, it’s here. So far, the general sentiment seems to be positive, with fans already quoting toxic lines from the album, which will rival Future‘s place as the king of gaslighting.
