Once again and with flawless ease, Tekashi 6ix9ine has pissed off the industry. This time, though, the king of the Trollz recruited the monarchical services of Nicki Minaj a.k.a Mrs Petty.
Is 6ix9ine the biggest artist on the internet?
6ix9ine commands an influential portion of the internet and his plans to incite chaos always pan out as he would like them to.
The danger of 6ix9ine lies in the scale of his sharability. The rainbow-haired Hispanic drives engagement en masse and this is what fuels his notoriety.
The people he targets are always compelled to defend their honour with a response to a person who could not care less about their convictions.
All he wants is more ammo for his assault that he will continue to unleash for as long as it keeps his brand top-of-mind. Then, like the neo-capitalist he is, he busts out the sales pitch.
Trollz ft Nicki Minaj: The numbers it’s doing since it dropped
It works like a charm. 6ix9ine has continued to amass a ton of wealth in house arrest and with the release of Trollz, his second post-prison single featuring Nicki Minaj, we expect to see more racks on his Instagram posts.
Trollz dropped on Friday morning and quickly shot to the top of the United States'(US) iTunes charts. The song was accompanied by a music video which, in a span of eight hours, has amassed more than 10 million views on YouTube.

Every reason we believe Nicki Minaj shaded Usher on the song
The biggest talking point from this release is a line in Minaj’s verse. Nothing has been confirmed nor denied by the queen Barb but her hive seems to think that she was referring to Usher Raymond when she said:
“Somebody Usher this n*gga into a clinic. My flow still sick, I ain’t talking a pandemic.”
The bar is way too ambiguous to outrightly believe that she was indeed talking about Usher. However, there is enough reason for Minaj to layout the assault.
You see, Usher had recently shelved Minaj as a product of Lil Kim, in a conversation with Swizz Beatz over who the next female Verzuz battle should feature.
Usher’s comments could be taken in different contexts but Minaj only understood one — do not compare her to her adversary.
