Luxury fashion aficionados are set to experience Maison Valentino’s innovative retail concept with the opening of its Madison Avenue flagship store.
Valentino’s strategic positioning on Madison Avenue and 60th Street signifies a crucial juncture in the brand’s global retail narrative, showcasing a reinterpretation of architectural space to create varied shopping experiences.
Spanning three floors, the store encompasses a sprawling 1142 square metres, where visitors are greeted by iconic columns and expansive windows that tease the interior’s intricate designs and materials.
Each level reflects a unique visual story, articulated through a rich chromatic palette and Valentino’s signature shades of red.
Upon entry, customers are welcomed by grand double doors, featuring sculptural marble handles reminiscent of artisanal craftsmanship, a recurring theme within Valentino’s stores.
The interior boasts seven-meter-high ceilings and exposed steel columns, setting a monumental tone that carries throughout the space.
Complemented by bespoke design elements such as a central green onyx display and varying textures underfoot, the store articulates its functions through thoughtful spatial division.
The ground floor dedicates areas to Valentino Garavani Accessories and ready-to-wear collections, separated by concrete shelving and highlighted with Rosso Valentino touches.
A spectacular staircase leads to the second floor, continuing the dialogue of materials with a mix of marbles that seamlessly blend with the adjacent ready-to-wear sections.
Valentino Women’s ready-to-wear collection finds its home on the second floor, marked by a striking red lacquered wardrobe, while VIP areas offer an intimate shopping experience, echoing the elegance of Italian ateliers.
The basement presents Valentino Menswear amid a blend of stark concrete and black parquet, with vintage seating adding a personal touch.
