The Hey Neighbour Festival has announced that Rema will not be performing next weekend due to health reasons.
Rema pulls out of Hey Neighbour Festival due to health reasons
The Hey Neighbour Festival, scheduled for the next weekend, made a significant change in its lineup.
Rema, one of the anticipated performers, has pulled out of the festival. This decision, stemming from health concerns, was communicated by Rema’s management team earlier this week, according to organisers.
“We send our best wishes for his recovery and hope to see him on our stage in the future!” the statement read.
Alongside Rema’s withdrawal, the festival is also dealing with the absence of Duckwrth, who is currently grappling with Vertigo.
Another artist, JZYNO, will miss the event due to unforeseen circumstances. These changes have prompted an adjustment to the festival’s planned performances, but the team remains committed to providing a diverse and engaging lineup.
Warren Le Grange, the Director of Hey Neighbour Festival, has acknowledged the disappointment this news may bring to fans.
He has extended an apology for any inconvenience caused by these unforeseen changes in the lineup. Despite these challenges, he assures that the festival will still offer a memorable experience for all attendees.
“Hey Neighbour Festival remains dedicated to providing an engaging lineup with exceptional talent from various genres,” he assured.
The festival is set to take place at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria from Friday 8 to Sunday, 10 December 2023.
Gates will open at noon each day and close at midnight. Attendees who are 18 and older can still purchase Phase 3 Tickets.
