A devastating incident unfolded last night at approximately 18:20 in Browns Farm, Nyanga when unknown gunmen launched a deadly mass shooting at a local residence in Mazizini.

Three individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, and five others sustained injuries, with one later succumbing to their injuries in the hospital.
All deceased were young men in their twenties, which has added to the community’s shock and grief.
The injured victims, who are currently receiving medical treatment, range in age from 27 to 35.
What police say about the motive
As of now, the motives behind this brutal shooting remain unclear.
Detectives from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit have been deployed to the scene and are diligently following a number of leads to capture the perpetrators responsible for the murders and attempted murders.
The police have made a public appeal for any information that could assist their ongoing investigation and have encouraged anyone with knowledge about the circumstances leading to these tragic events to come forward.
