Kevin Hart South Africa tour: Where and when will the concert take place?
The legendary comedian broke the internet when, in a video posted across his social media platforms, he announced dates for the South Africa leg of his world tour, the second time he’s ever added Mzansi to his global voyage.
The Jumanji actor will be in South Africa for four nights, starting in Cape Town on Wednesday, 15 February 2023.

Cape Town
- Wednesday, 15 February 2023 – Grand Arena, GrandWest
Pretoria
- Friday, 17 February 2023 – Times Square, Menlyn Maine (SOLD OUT)
- Saturday, 18 February 2023 – Times Square, Menlyn Maine (SOLD OUT)
- Sunday, 19 February 2023 – Times Square, Menlyn Maine
The show is scheduled to start at 20:00 CAT in both cities.
Hart’s first encounter with a South African audience was in March 2016 when he brought his ‘What Now‘ tour to the Ticketpro Dome in North Riding, Johannesburg. where he set a local record with more than 16 000 tickets sold.
“South Africa, it has been too long. Your boy is coming your way on the 17th of February. It’s going down!” the comedian exclaimed.
At this juncture, no further dates and venues have been added to the comedian’s stop in South Africa. It seems fans from elsewhere in the country may have to spend extra money to experience Kevin Hart live in South Africa next year.
How to buy tickets to Kevin Hart’s comedy show
At the time this article was published, ticket sales for Kevin Hart’s South Africa tour were sold out for three of the four dates. According to Ticketmaster, the only tickets available are for the Sunday show.
While ticket sales are yet to go live, here are a few notices to help you prepare for the Kevin Hart South Africa tour:
- There is a ticket limit of eight tickets per person and per credit card at this event.
- Phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices are not permitted at the venue
- All phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event.
- Phones, smartwatches and other electronic devices can only be used at designated Phone Use Areas within the venue
- All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space.
- Anyone seen using a device (phone, smartwatch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
