According to early tracking for Jumanji: The Next Level first week box office numbers, comedian, Kevin Hart, and wrestler-turned-A-list-actor, Dwayne Johnson will be smiling all the way to the bank this Christmas.
Jumanji ‘The Next Level’: Release date, cast
After a very successful run in global theatres, Jumanji will return to our screens with the sequel: The Next Level.
According to the film’s director, Jake Kasdan, this time around, the film will be packed with a lot more action and a greater budget.
The latter can be attested to by looking at the new recruits that join Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan.
The cast
The gang returns to play the game but this time around, the stakes could not be higher. To beat the world’s most dangerous game Kasdan recruited Danny DeVito and Danny Glover. Here’s the full cast that will lead the front on the Jumanji sequel:

The release date
Jumanji: The Next Level is slated for a universal release on Friday, 13 December. The Sony production will be, once more, going head-to-head with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
How much is the movie predicted to earn in first week?
Early tracking services have been running the numbers on what Jumanji: The Next Level is expected to do at the box office in the first week.
After all, the first seven days of a movie’s release determine its growth trajectory, and if the number crunchers at Variety are correct, Jumanji could be on the verge of a $40-million (R587-million) domestic debut.
However, box office tracking has been largely unreliable for sequels. That’s why Sony has cautiously earmarked $35-million (R513-million) as a benchmark in a three-day frame.
