Harry Styles leads the pack with a total of seven nominees. Tailing close behind is Taylor Swift, who is in contention for the Best Longform Video, a newly added category.
Nicki Minaj and ROSALÍA take third place with five nods, respectively.

2022 MTV EMAs watch date: Here’s what you must know
The 2022 MTV EMAs will be held at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf on 13 November 2022. This will be the sixth time the award ceremony has been hosted in Germany.
In global markets (non-SA), a repeat award ceremony broadcast will be available to stream on Paramount+ and Pluto TV from 14 November 2022.
