The Western Cape’s violent crimes unit has turned to the public for assistance in locating two persons of interest believed to be connected to the harrowing Constantia mass murder from 25 May 2023.

In a statement, the office of the provincial commissioner revealed that witnesses reported seeing six suspects fleeing the scene of the mass shooting in a blue Hyundai and a white Volkswagen Golf GTI with no registration plates, that fateful morning, where four Bulgarian nationals were viciously killed inside a Constantia property.
Later that morning, at approximately 10:17, two individuals were observed under a bridge on the N1 highway in a white VW Passat and the previously mentioned VW Golf GTI.
The police believe these individuals could provide crucial information regarding the investigation and are urging anyone with knowledge of their whereabouts or the individuals themselves to come forward.

In the serene, affluent suburb of Constantia, a gruesome discovery was made on Thursday 25 May 2023, shocking the local community and the broader Cape Town area.
Four individuals, believed to be Bulgarians, were found deceased with gunshot wounds in an abandoned property. The grim scene was uncovered after concerned neighbours initiated a welfare check.
Police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut confirmed at the time that the scene had been cordoned off for extensive investigation, although details surrounding the forensic evidence remain undisclosed to this day.
The identities of the victims, thought to be two females and two males aged between 40 and 50, are still being verified, and little is known about their immigration status or the reasons they were in South Africa.
The motive behind this devastating act is unclear, with Cape Town police and a dedicated team of homicide detectives working tirelessly to gather clues and unravel the circumstances leading to the quadruple murder.
