Ekurhuleni authorities have made a stunning breakthrough in their manhunt for an alleged serial rapist who has evaded police for nine years.
Watch: Alleged serial rapist unmasked in viral clip
Video footage showing a cuffed man, who shockingly resembles a composite sketch police recently circulated on the rapist, surfaced on social media.
A woman was only identified in the clip as Nomsa could be heard interrogating the man on his motives and why he targeted young women. The handcuffed man looked on nonchalantly, almost smug at the emotional reaction he envoked on a triggered woman who was on the verge of completely blacking out and doing the unthinkable.

Is this the same man who took Amahle?
Following the release of this clip, murmurs grew on social media that the alleged serial rapist was the same man who allegedly kidnapped Little Amahle from Ekurhuleni, in 2019.
The eight-year-old was lured away by an unknown man, while she played with her friends near her home in Tsakane.
“Her friends said she was taken by a strange man in black shorts and a white T-shirt,” her mother told Sowetan.
Amazingly, Amahle’s friends were able to recall unique facial features of the abductor. He wasn’t that tall. He had a scar on his left cheek and he had a beard.
“We then showed them a copy of the identikit that we saw in the newspapers and they said it was him,” the mother added.
Could it be that the eight-year-old was kidnapped by the depraved rapist who, from what we know, has more than 58 active sexual assault cases?
Amahle was never found and her case, at this time, remains a missing person investigation.
Etwatwa police have yet to issue a statement on the arrest.
