Cape Town rapper, Orish, released his single titled Sondela teaming up with the Cape Town talents Lookatups and K.Keed.
How Orish made Sondela a trap banger
The track opens up with synth noises repeatedly beaming in the background creating a tense atmosphere for the song.
Lookatups immediately turns up with the catchy chorus before Orish jumps on the beat and combines a mixture of singing and rapping in Xhosa.
He goes on to sing about urging a person he finds interest in to come closer to him so they can get to know each other better.
The exciting K.Keed finishes off the track adding that final touch of excitement with her delightful rapping ability as she raps about her flashy lifestyle and how grateful she is for living that kind of life.
The beat, produced by do2, is a fresh sound to many, using weird synthetic noises in the background while the hard 808’s and heavy bass rattle in the background, creating a riveting atmosphere for the artists to showcase their talents on.

Cape Town rappers had one hell of a week
With this release, Cape Town has seen its talented artists dominate the hip-hop world over the past week.
Although Orish impressed many with Sondela, Lookatups also found success after the release of his hit-single titled Amadolo featuring Flow Jones and another Cape Town sensation, SimulationRxps.
However, it’s been K.Keed who has been finding real success after the release of the visuals to Ewiva’s ITHINI IWEY and biggest of all, her feature on Dee Koala’s hit single Spazz alongside Blxckie.
With other releases like Bravo LeRoux’s single titled Tilili and Bryan Cheru’s 2021 EP titled THEY ONLY LOVE YOU WHEN YOU GONE, Mother City has been booming with musical output.
