Cape Town rapper and producer, illRow, released the visuals to his song titled Doctor’s Certificate, coming off his 2021 album, The Cape Doctor.
illRow: Here’s our thoughts on the Doctor’s Certificate visual
illRow keeps putting Cape Town on the map with his musical output.
The Doctor’s Certificate music video begins with a little skit, having Row dressed up in a doctor’s uniform, chatting to a client.
The funky beat drops and this is when we get to see Row spit his bars in front of his crib.
He goes off rapping about his hustle in the rap game.
The visual gives us an inside look at the popular Sportscene Studio which has seen many artists visit the famous studio.
The video uses some cool effects like slow motion, dope close-ups, and trippy visual effects.
The music video also has some entertaining cameo appearances from fellow Cape Town rapper, SuZPekt, and music producer, Shaney Jay.
The video has Row working with Mr. Heinz as editor and Daniel Nyati, who also filmed the visuals for SuZPekt’s Stiek Uit.
Check out the music video, now available on YouTube.
The Cape Doctor keeps impressing
illRow has been keeping busy, working on his solo work or assisting others.
His album, The Cape Doctor, which was released on 21 March 2021, was filled with enjoyable tracks like WAT, Books to Bucks, and Krag.
He also released the visuals to Krag just over a month ago.
The Cape Town rapper is also a talented videographer, having recently worked with Mr Heinz on the music video for Lekker Deur, which he shot and directed.
Row has a lot to offer to the Cape Town music scene and it’s always exciting to see what he can come up with.
Whether it be his rapping, beat making, or videography, the Mother City talent has a lot to offer.
