Residents are advised that these maintenance activities, which include the replacement of defective isolation valves, are critical and are planned to be as least disruptive as possible. During this period, the water supply may be temporarily unavailable or reduced.
“The City sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused,” the City noted in a statement.
There’s a possibility that the work could extend beyond the scheduled time, especially if complexities arise. After the supply restoration, residents may notice discoloured or milky water due to trapped air in the pipes; this will settle and clear up shortly.

How residents are advised to prepare for planned water supply disruptions:
- Store enough water in clean, sealed containers for use during this period.
- Keep your taps closed to prevent any water loss and/or damage when the water supply is restored.
