The Cape Town house music producer, Bee Deejay, finally released his On The Map EP on the 25th of March 2021, gifting house fans some new music just in time for the Easter holidays.
On The Map: What to expect from the project
Bee Deejay showcases some of the most fun and exciting amapiano tunes on this project, with some tracks leaning more towards the Gqom sound.
Every song offers something new and refreshing, leaving amapiano fans anticipating what could possibly come next on every new track.
Although the project only has 9 songs on it, the run-time is an impressive 51 minutes being just the right amount of time for fans to groove to.
The project is also jam-packed with multiple different artists all contributing to the different tracks like Xhosa rap sensation Bravo Le Roux on the Gqom track Putted and Zano on Ngenkani.
However, the majority of the album is aided by Rhass, RVKS, Mshayi, and Mr Thela who all feature on the tracks Thaxa, Ndincede, Jikeleza, and On The Map.
This project is a great listening experience to house and amapiano music listeners, especially with the notion that it was produced by a DJ from the Mother City which you don’t hear that often.
Check out the project, available now on multiple streaming platforms.
