NFL Super Bowl: Buccaneers win second title
At limited capacity, the Raymond Stadium, the Buccaneers’ home ground, erupted into pandemonium when Brady sealed an unassailable 31-9 victory against the Chiefs who had all their hopes resting on their star forward Patrick Mahomes.
It was a record-breaking night, one that Brady, a 43-year-old quarterback legend, lives for. The Buccaneers became the first team in NFL history to win the title at their home stadium.
Tom Brady says he is not retiring
Brady, on the other hand, extended his record with his seventh Lombardi Trophy, two more than any player in the history of professional football.
One would think that with all of these achievements notched under his belt, Brady would consider paving the way for future NFL Hall of Famers to take up his shirt number.
However, in Brady’s own words, permanent leave from the sport he loves dearly is unfathomable.
