We did warn you that Sho Madjozi and her iconic hairstyles would cause all kinds of frustrations for parents.
Well, this kid is a clear example of what happens when moms do not relay clear and simple instructions to hairdressers.
Kid suffers nightmare Christmas with botched Sho Madjozi hairdo
The poor girl had told her mom that for Christmas, all she wanted was a Sho Madjozi hairdo.
This usually comes in the form of cornrows twisted in a mix of different colours.
The rapstress has made this vibrant, colourful look, a part of her brand and artistic identity. There is no ‘Sho’ in Madjozi without a splash of colours meddled in her braiding.
Her newly found fanbase — young girls aged between ten and 19 — has assumed the look and all you hear from parents is how conflicting it is to allow their angels to get pink, blue, red and lime green braids.
This young girl, whose reaction to the botched Sho Madjozi hairdo has since gone viral, knows all too well how exhausting life can be with regular, bland braids.

Mom gets a second chance at redemption
The cries of the girl, known only as Momo, spurred Black Twitter to call on her parents to do the right thing.
Sure enough, the pleas from social media — even popular rapstress Boity joined the fray — were heard by Momo’s parents and the first thing the couple did on Boxing Day, was taking the girl to a nearby salon for a hairdo-over.

We eagerly await the outcome of the salon trip and hope that Momo will come out feeling re-energised in her Sho Madjozi hairstyle.
