Rasta delivers on Andrew Mlangeni painting
The self-proclaimed best paint artist in South Africa took to social media to unveil the portrait of the fallen giant, Mlangeni, on the day of his funeral.
Was it a ruse this whole time?
Remarkably, the portrait struck a great resemblance to the last Rivonia Trialist and people could not believe it. You see, Rasta has built a bad reputation for botching portraits of people who have passed.
That, for a while, we believed was his M.O. He would be invited to craft a portrait of the person being honoured, be it they are dead or alive, and Rasta would literally take a left turn in his artistic interpretation.
It was almost a fixture of all political and/or burial events. In a way, his amateurish paintings provided much-needed comedic relief in times of distress, whether he meant for it to be that way or not.

Alas, it seems that the man’s paintbrush has taken on a new form. It’s either that or his wrist action has immensely improved.
