The world will remember Gosiame Thamara Sithole as a living example of the untapped supernatural powers women possess.
Gosiame Thamara Sithole breaks Guinness World Record
On Tuesday, social media was abuzz with Sithole’s name. This comes after the 37-year-old successfully gave birth to 10 babies at a Pretoria hospital, on Monday evening.
As reported by IOL News, Sithole underwent a Caesarian operation and welcomed seven boys and three girls, 29 weeks into her record-breaking pregnancy.
This effectively makes her the Guinness World Record-holder for the most children birthed by one woman at once, a feat that was previously held by a Malian woman, Halima Cissé, whose tally was nine babies.
Social media reacts to Tembisa super mom
After a nerve-wracking pregnancy, Sithole and her husband Teboho Tsotetsi will finally get to enjoy the thrills of such a wholesome blessing.
However, the journey was not easy. According to the couple, the 37-year-old super mom, who already has a set of six-year-old twins, was expected to give birth to octuplets (eight babies). The mysterious two naughty bambinos had evaded scans, partly due to the fact that they were tucked inside the wrong tube.
This scare didn’t deter the couple from doing everything in their power to see the tough seven-month journey through. Today, their story is an amazing tale of inspiration and proof that miracles are not out of reach.
Here’s how social media reacted to Sithole’s record-breaking birth:
