Twiggy was one of four presenters leading the programme on the SuperPicks daytime show on Wednesday, 30 November 2022.
What was supposed to be a rehearsal performance from the presenters bizarrely ended up on a live broadcast, where millions of South Africans saw the moment Twiggy called Ronaldo a p***.
The renowned content creator was asked who she’d prefer to lift the 2022 FIFA World Cup between Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
Without so much as a moment of hesitancy, Mollison charged at the former Manchester United attacker with vulgar language.

In a statement that followed the backlash, SuperSport unreservedly apologised for the on-air slip-up, claiming the footage millions of South Africans watched was part of a rehearsal that should have never made it on air.
“SuperSport is aware of a SuperPicks video circulating on social media. This was a rehearsal that was not meant for broadcast. Despite this, we unreservedly apologise for the language used,” the sports channel noted.
At this time, SuperSport has yet to issue a directive on whether a disciplinary process has been launched against all parties involved in the technical slip-up.
Twiggy Moli has also not issued a public statement addressing her profane language toward Portugal’s captain and it remains to be seen if the content creator will feature in any of the sports channels shows in future.
