Central Visual and Performing Arts High School in St Louis, Missouri, hosted a deadly mass shooting where a lone gunman mauled two victims to death, injuring several others.

As reported by the St Louis Post Dispatch, chaos broke out at the performing arts high school after the principal sounded a distress alert over the loudspeaker at approximately 09:00 EST (15:00 CAT), warning of an armed shooter in the building.
Eyewitnesses who survived the horrific ordeal recalled hearing the voice of a male screaming, “you are all going to (expletive) die,” before releasing four gunshots, sending the entire school into pandemonium.
From what we understand, the suspect, whose identity has yet to be unveiled, was gunned down during a brief engagement with armed officers and later died in hospital.
All that is known about the St Louis school shooter, at this juncture, is that he was in his 20s.
Furthermore, reports suggest that while at least seven security guards were at the school around the time of the shooting, police have refused to provide details on how the suspect made it into the building.
What police did confirm, however, was that three victims died in the school shooting, while seven others were in hospital for life-threatening injuries.
