The KTM rider secured a commendable second place, trailing behind the reigning double world champion, Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati, who exhibited a flawless race from the get-go.

Who is Brad Binder?
Brad Binder, hailing from Potchefstroom, South Africa, began his journey in motorsports at the tender age of eight, dominating the national karting scene before transitioning to motorcycle racing.
His career took a significant leap forward when he joined the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup in 2009, showcasing his prodigious talent. Binder’s journey through the ranks of motorcycle racing has been marked by notable achievements, including becoming the third South African to win a motorcycle Grand Prix world championship.
His remarkable rise continued through the Moto2 World Championship with the Ajo Motorsports team, narrowly missing out on the title in 2019 by just three points.
As a MotoGP rider for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing since 2020, Binder has not only claimed victories but also earned the Rookie of the Year award.

When is Portugal MotoGP?
