Sindisiwe Manqele revealed, in a polarising episode of the MacG podcast, that she has a documentary releasing soon on the death of the late Skwatta Kamp member, Nkululeko ‘Flabba’ Habedi.
Sindisiwe Manqele to release doccie on how she killed Flabba
Manqele made her first public appearance on a media platform since she was released on parole in May 2022. The 32-year-old sat down with the MacG podcast crew to talk about the new leaf she’s turned since her release from prison and, of course, the night she killed Flabba.
Not only were fans gob-smacked at the sight of a remorseless killer joking about a man whose death she caused, but also the borderline insensitive nature of the interview.
Alas, several interesting moments came from the interview, but none was more controversial than when Manqele revealed she has a documentary in the works about the death of Flabba.
When asked about the night she killed the Skwatta Kamp member, Manqele hesitated a bit before revealing this question, and more will be explored in the doccie.
She did, however, maintain that the death of Flabba was a mistake and that it resulted from an argument the couple had after a night out.
“That night, we were drunk and tempers were high, we had gone out and got intoxicated and there was a bit of jealousy from his side. It escalated and things were said and ended up taking the wrong turn,” she recalled.
No further details have, as yet, emerged on the doccie, which, Manqele explained, has not been licenced for mass syndication.
The 32-year-old was convicted of murder in 2016 and sentenced to 12 years, of which she only spent six behind bars. While in prison, Manqele obtained a law degree, and currently, she works as a legal intern for a firm in Johannesburg.
