Bongani Mthombeni-Möller is on the run from online furore after she surfaced from ‘Cheesecake-Gate‘ on Tuesday with a series of bizarre videos she posted on her now-deleted Instagram.
Bongani Mthombeni-Möller Instagram disappears amid online furore
The fitness guru is at the centre of a cheating scandal involving former Bafana Bafana centre-back Matthew Booth.
On Monday, shockwaves reverberated across the internet when Sonia Booth, the wife of the ex-soccer player, went on a tell-all spree on Instagram, divulging the sordid love affair between Matthew and Mthombeni-Möller who, by the way, is married to University of Cape Town (UCT) Professor Klaus.
According to the scorned wife, Matthew and Bongani Mthombeni-Möller have been embroiled in a steamy love affair that included interprovincial escapades, pricey gifts and, even worse, a cheesecake the ex-footballer baked on the eve of his son Nate’s birthday and served to Mthombeni-Möller on Sonia’s tupperware dish.
In the midst of Sonia’s social media meltdown, Bongani deleted her Instagram account. However, by Tuesday morning, the fitness guru had returned to the Meta-owned platform completely oblivious to the mounting furore.
Instead of publicly addressing claims that she’s a homewrecker, Bongani turned up at a Virgin Active gym and recorded herself working out.
Here are the video clips that were taken from Bongani Mthombeni-Möller’s Instagram page before it disappeared.
Matthew Booth has yet to surface with a statement addressing the allegations made by his wife. However, from what we understand, the ex-footballer has made attempts to reach out to Sonia.
In one of her final Instagram posts, Sonia Booth revealed that the retired centre-back had sent people to check up on her after the exposé.
“Let me save you energy, time, airtime and data. I will never take my life for a man*, not even for your legend. Imagine… ME… Sonia! I survived ICU, for a reason. Now, stop with your pretentious and capricious ‘concerns’, they make me ill,” she wrote.
