Disney Plus finally launched in South Africa with a slew of classic titles available to stream at a touch of a button.

The streaming service, owned by The Walt Disney Company, enters a market dominated by Netflix with more than 1 000 shows, including 200 or more exclusive originals from “Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and general entertainment from Star.”
While Disney Plus South Africa’s catalogue may differ from the West, the streaming service has made more than 60 titles from Marvel Studios available.
Users will have access to features like high-quality viewing, up to four concurrent streams, 4k video quality for select titles and the ability to set up to seven different profiles, including the ability for parents to create pin-protected profiles, ensuring kids access age-appropriate content.
