A Sasko bakery driver was killed in a double murder shooting incident in Delft on Thursday morning, and police have launched an investigation into the crime.

Delft police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting that occurred on the corner of Delft Main Road and Symphony Way, on Thursday morning, 16 May 2024.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Bilqis Poole, the incident resulted in the deaths of two adult males, one of whom was a Sasko bakery driver.
Poole revealed that the victims were found with gunshot wounds inside their vehicle.
Medical personnel declared both men deceased at the scene.
The motive for the attack is currently unknown and forms part of the ongoing police investigation.
The suspects responsible for the shooting fled the scene and have not yet been apprehended.

Footage of the crime scene taken by eyewitnesses has since surfaced online.
The video shows the aftermath of the shooting, moments before police officers and emergency services arrived at the scene.
As the investigation continues, authorities are focused on gathering evidence and piecing together the events leading up to the shooting. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, but police are exploring all possible leads.
