Kabza De Small has tucked away the humble pie and declared himself the ‘King of Amapiano’ in his brand new album.
It sure is a pity that South Africa is still quarantined because this 27-track smasher of a solo project deserves its time on the dancefloor.
I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet and Short is Kabza’s first solo outing since he emerged on the scene under the wings of his cohort, DJ Maphorisa, in 2018.
It is insane to think that under the New Money Gang label, this new album by Kabza — again, it is 27 tracks — is the fourth project to drop in 2020 and the ninth release since 2019.
That is a testament to the sheer level of output these guys commit to which gives Kabza every right to declare himself the ‘King of Piano’.
Kabza ‘I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet and Short’: Where to download, tracklist
I Am the King of Amapiano: Sweet and Short is currently out for purchase and download on Apple Music. It is unclear, at this stage, if this is an Apple Music exclusive but we expect the album to surface on other streaming platforms soon.
The 27-track onslaught features appearances from Wizkid, Burna Boy, Cassper Nyovest, Daliwonga, Focalistic and many others.
