Zahara is taking her financial woes and turning them into possible revenue gold with her new reality TV show, As I Rise, slated for an early 2023 premiere on SABC 1.
Zahara ‘As I Rise’ reality show: When is the release date?
According to reports, the Loliwe hitmaker is only a few months away from letting fans in on the behind-the-scene ongoings of her professional singing career. More than anything, curious supporters will expect to get a first-hand account of how Zahara has been coping with her mounting financial woes.
While not much information is available on what fans can expect from the reality TV show, it was confirmed that As I Rise will debut on SABC 1 on Saturday, 4 February 2022.
The star’s latest move was unveiled at the SABC Video Entertainment showcase on Wednesday, where one of the show’s producers revealed the reason behind pitching As I Rise to the SABC.
“Obviously we knew what was going on in the public, you know, the tabloids. You wake up in the morning and she’s losing her house, you know, this is happening. But then Zahara is a human being, you know? just like us. Sometimes we forget that people have real feelings. They lose a loved one, you know? Business doesn’t go as planned, and they have a right to be upset,” the co-producer said.
