- Extreme Fire Danger: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in parts of the Eastern Cape, western regions of the Free State, western and southern areas of the North-West, extreme northeastern parts of the Western Cape, and Northern Cape (excluding its western parts).
- Heat Wave Advisory: A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is forecasted for the western parts of the North West, western and central parts of the Free State, and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, continuing until Saturday.

Eastern Cape
Western Half – Fine and warm to hot, becoming cloudy along the coast with evening rain.
Eastern Half – Fine, becoming cloudy in the evening with light rain south of the escarpment.
Free State
Cloudy in the east at first, then partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers. Conditions will be fine and hot to very hot, and extremely hot in the west.
Gauteng
Expect partly cloudy and warm conditions with isolated showers and thundershowers. The UVB sunburn index will be high.
KwaZulu-Natal
Morning fog over the interior, then partly cloudy and warm, hot in places in the north. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected. Moderate south-westerly winds along the coast, turning moderate to fresh north-easterly.
Limpopo
Morning cloudiness with drizzle over the escarpment, then becoming partly cloudy and warm. Isolated showers and thundershowers over the southwestern parts.
Mpumalanga
Cloudy in the morning with drizzle over the escarpment. Partly cloudy and warm later, but hot in the Lowveld. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are likely, except in the Lowveld.
North West
Initially cloudy in the east, then fine and hot to very hot. Expect partly cloudy skies with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Northern Cape
Partly cloudy and cool to warm along the coast and adjacent interior. Fine and hot to very hot weather, extremely hot in the north, with windy conditions in the south.
Western Cape
Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool along the south coast. Fine and warm to hot elsewhere, very hot in places over the eastern interior. Moderate easterly winds along the south coast, turning moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly.
