The South African Weather Service has issued multiple impact-based warnings for Tuesday, affecting several regions including the Eastern Cape, North West, and the Northern Cape.

A Yellow Level 2 warning for severe thunderstorms with strong winds, heavy downpours, and large hail will affect the extreme eastern parts of the Northern Cape, eastern parts of the Eastern Cape, and central and western parts of both North West and Free State provinces.
Fire Danger Alert
Extremely high fire danger conditions are forecast for the northern parts of the Northern Cape and Moses Kotane L.M. of the North West.

Eastern Cape
In the eastern half, the day will start with cloudy conditions accompanied by fog and drizzle south of the escarpment. The weather will then become partly cloudy and warm to hot, with scattered showers and thundershowers from the afternoon.
Coastal winds will be light to moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong in the north towards the evening, while turning to light to moderate south-westerly in the south from mid-morning.
In the west, morning fog patches will be seen in the interior. Conditions will be partly cloudy and warm, shifting to cloudy with cool temperatures and light rain in the south. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the interior from the afternoon. Coastal winds will change from light and variable to moderate south-westerly late in the morning.
Free State
The weather will be partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, but these will be more scattered over the central parts. Windy conditions are expected in the western and southern parts.
Gauteng
Conditions will be partly cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers expected. The UVB sunburn index is anticipated to be low.
KwaZulu-Natal
Morning fog patches will clear to partly cloudy and warm weather conditions, with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the northeast. Coastal winds will be moderate to fresh north-easterly. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be very high.
Limpopo
It will be a fine and warm to hot day, turning partly cloudy in the western Bushveld with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers anticipated.
Mpumalanga
The escarpment region will be cloudy with morning fog patches. Elsewhere, it will be fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the extreme west and southern parts with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers. Hot conditions are expected in the Lowveld.
North West
The province will experience partly cloudy and warm to hot weather, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east but scattered elsewhere. Windy conditions will prevail over the western parts.
Northern Cape
The west will enjoy fine weather, while the rest of the province will see partly cloudy skies with warm to hot temperatures, along with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east. Coastal winds will be light and variable, turning to moderate west to south-westerly from the afternoon.
Western Cape
Morning fog patches and drizzle are predicted for the western regions, followed by partly cloudy and cool conditions. The north-eastern parts will be warm with very isolated showers and thundershowers expected in the extreme north-eastern parts by late afternoon. Along the coast, winds will start light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh west to north-westerly from the afternoon. A very high UVB sunburn index is forecast.
