Extremely high fire danger conditions are anticipated in Kamiesberg municipality and areas in the northern and north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, western North West, and northern Free State.

Eastern Cape
In the western half, the coast and adjacent interior will be partly cloudy with isolated showers along the coast, while the rest of the region will be fine and cool. Winds will be light south-westerly, turning south-easterly in the afternoon.
In the east, the north will be cloudy in the morning, then fine and cool, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment from the afternoon. Light south-westerly winds will become south-easterly.
Free State
The day in Free State will be fine and warm to hot. Morning fog is expected in the east, leading to partly cloudy conditions with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Gauteng
The day will start partly cloudy, then become cloudy and range from warm to hot. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected. The UVB sunburn index is forecasted to be very high.
KwaZulu-Natal
The interior will experience morning fog, followed by cloudy and cool weather with isolated showers. Coastal areas will have moderate southerly to south-easterly winds. The UVB sunburn index is expected to be high.
Limpopo
Similar to Mpumalanga, morning fog patches will be seen over the escarpment. The weather will be cloudy and warm, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the southeast and extreme east.

Morning fog patches will appear over the escarpment, followed by cloudy and cool weather. The province can expect isolated showers and thundershowers.
North West
The western part of the province will be fine, while the rest will be partly cloudy and hot to very hot. The extreme east can expect isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
Northern Cape
Conditions in the Northern Cape will be fine, and temperatures will range from hot to very hot, but it will be warm in the south. Coastal areas will experience fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly winds.
Western Cape
Partly cloudy and cool along the south coast, becoming cloudy in the evening. The rest of the province will be fine, warm to hot, and very hot along the west coast. Strong southerly to southeasterly winds are expected along the coast.
