On Monday, 17 October 2022, a Van Nuys court sentenced Superfly actor Kaalan “KR” Walker 50-years-to-life for raping four women and three teenage girls he met online.

As per NBC 4, on 18 April 2022, a Van Nuys jury found the performer guilty of three counts of forcible rape.
In addition, he was also found guilty of two counts of improper sexual contact with a minor, two counts of raping a victim who was intoxicated, and one count of assault with the intent to perform oral copulation. The assaults took place between 2013 and 2018.
Walker used Twitter and Instagram to find his victims, who were frequently aspiring actresses and models, and entice them to locations under the guise of booking them for music video and photo shoots that never materialised. Instead, the 27-year-old assaulted and raped the women and young girls.
Kaalan was arrested in September 2018 but later released on bail. However, after being found guilty, he was arrested once more.
In addition, Judge Joseph Brandolino of the Superior Court ordered Walker to register as a sex offender for the remainder of his life.
Who is Kaalan Walker?
Kaalan Rashad Walker was born on 28 March 1995 in Los Angeles (LA), United States, and grew up in a Christian household. After graduating from Chatsworth Charter High Garden Club in his hometown, he joined the entertainment industry, Newsunzip reports. KR began his career in Hollywood as a dancer. He was a part of the Marvel Ink group, which became famous on YouTube in 2010.
He went on to sign with Empire Records and has shared the stage alongside G Easy, Waka Flocka, SchoolBoy Q, and others. Walker released his EP, The Intermission, in 2017.
Moreover, Kaalan made his cinematic debut alongside Halle Berry and Daniel Craig in the movie KINGS. However, Walker gained massive popularity after playing Juju in the film Superfly.
