This brazen attempt on the life of Haiti’s prime minister comes six months after the Caribbean country’s president Jovenel Moïse was assassinated inside the National Palace by a commando group.
From what’s been reported, Henry was advised against attending the ceremony, after member groups of the notorious confederation of gangs known as the G-9 threatened to murder the prime minister.
