Generations: The Legacy created all the buzz on social media when reports confirmed that the soapie’s iconic ex-cast members, Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo, are due for a landmark return next month.
When will Connie Ferguson, Rapulana Seiphemo return to ‘Generations’?
In a statement, the production company behind one of South Africa’s longest-running soap dramas, Morula Pictures, confirmed Ferguson will reprise her iconic role as ‘Karabo Moroka’ next to Seiphemo’s character, ‘Tau Mogale’ in April 2023.
While details on the duo’s landmark return to Generations remain sketchy, the production company’s spokesperson Gaaratwe Mokhethi teased that Moroka and Mogale may be reinserted as guest characters into a wider storyline of the Generations: The Legacy family.
“It promises to be an epic month, with the drama of the show demanding the intervention of two important characters. As part of the larger Generations: The Legacy family, we can assure viewers that this is by no means [the] last or least that we’ll see of the two,” Mokhethi hinted.

As reported by TVSA, it’s very likely Karabo and Tau will return to our screens as guests at the funeral of Mazwi Moroka (played by Musa Ngema), who’s tipped to be at the centre of a murder plot on episodes set to air in mid-April 2023.
