A collision involving a taxi and a light motor vehicle on Old Fort Road in Durban early this morning resulted in injuries to ten individuals.

The incident occurred just after 07:30 at a busy junction, on Thursday, leading to a swift response from emergency services.
ALS Paramedics were among the first responders at the scene.
They quickly assessed the situation, determining that ten people from both vehicles had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
To manage the situation effectively, additional ALS Paramedics ambulances were dispatched to assist in stabilising the injured parties.
Once stabilised, the ten injured individuals were transported to various hospitals in Durban for further medical care.
The exact circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear at this stage.
However, the SAPS and Durban Metro Police were present at the scene and have commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.

- Congestion on the N2 Northbound after the ramp to EB Cloete Interchange has now cleared, but residual delays may still affect traffic flow.
- N3 Westbound:
- A stationary vehicle after the ramp from Ashburton has been cleared. Motorists are advised to drive carefully as the situation normalises.
