Introducing Diamond, Dione Xanthe, and Lebo
Season two introduces three personalities to the show: Diamond, Dione Xanthe, and Lebo.
Diamond, a mother and stripper from Alexandra in Johannesburg, aims to shed light on the truth about being a stripper, challenging misconceptions and sharing the emotional reality of the job.
“It is not just what you see at face value; we are real people, with real emotions and people who depend on us. We go through a lot. It is not an easy job. It is a craft that we work hard to perfect and I think people do not realise that.
“My biggest goal is to shed light on this industry and, maybe, hopefully, that might help someone else,” she said.
Dione Xanthe, an adult digital content creator from Bloemfontein, embraces the platform of This Body Works For Me to humanise and destigmatise the sex work industry.
Her inspiring journey is set to resonate with young women facing similar challenges.
Lebo, an aspiring farmer from Tembisa in the East Rand, becomes the first trans woman on the show. Her aim is to share the unique trans experience and create a platform for diverse stories to be heard and understood.
“My aim for being on ”This Body Works For Me“ is to show people the trans experience. We all come in different shapes and sizes. No story is the same; every story is unique and every story deserves a platform. I hope to teach and make it easier for those who are coming after me,” she told IOL News.
