Showbusiness has its glories and for the most part, Lerato Kganyago has reaped the fruits of it but with the good, so comes the bad.
Honeymoon ends in divorce after two months
The worst part about this industry is that, as a public figure, every aspect of one’s life is in full display and celebrities often find themselves at the mercy of public opinion.
This is what may have compelled newlywed DJ Lerator Kganyago to release a public statement on the end of her marriage to Forex trader Thami Ndlala.
Kganyago wowed social media when she tied the knot with Ndlala in a picturesque traditional wedding that took place at the start of South Africa’s coronavirus-influenced lockdown, in late March.
However, the couple would announce their separation barely two months into their wedlock.
“It is with sadness that we announce that Thami and I have decided to go our separate ways. We have come to realise that our different priorities and workloads have not afforded us the time to invest in our relationship. We will continue to care deeply for each other and look forward to growing our friendship. We have nothing more to say on the subject and hope that our privacy will be respected during this difficult time,” she wrote in a statement.
So, why did Lerato Kganyago divorce Thami Ndala?
The news of her marriage breakup hit social media on Thursday evening and it wasn’t long before rumours started to swirl around the real reason behind the split.
Social media gossip chief @AdvBarryRoux, a parody account that’s gained notoriety for breaking news, got hold of details that hint at the alleged reason behind the short-lived communion.
We have attached the exposè thread from @AdvBarryRoux for you to read through but in essence, it’s alleged Ndlala is a con artist and Kganyago may have lifted the lid on his alleged fraudulent lifestyle two months too late.
