Ntokozo “K.O” Mdluli is on a SAMA 26 (South African Music Awards) streak and the rapper feels like he can win some more.
SAMA 26: K.O crossing fingers for ‘big’ category
Already, K.O has bagged the coveted Best Collaboration award for Say U Will featuring Nandi Madida. However, it seems that the Skhanda Republic founder has his eyes set on a specific category.
In the tweet that he posted on Wednesday morning, he did not mention which one it is. Of course, he would not want to jinx his manifestations by allowing our opinions on who deserves to champion this category he wants so bad.
Although, we already know that apart from the Best Collaboration award, K.O is competing for Music Video of the Year (K.O _Supa Dupa and Say U Will); Record of the Year (Supa Dupa); and Best Hip-Hop Album (_PTY UNLTD)
Certainly, one of these big three is the category K.O is gunning for and if the Universe reciprocates his wishes, his die-hard fans will get the final sequel to the Mission Statement trilogy.
‘Mission Statement 3 coming soon,’ Mr Cashtime says
K.O is fixing up to dust off the crates and pull out Mission Statement 3, the final piece to the cult classic sequel that fans have been begging for.
To jog your memory, we have added the first two mission statements below. If the third instalment sounds anything like these two classics, this would mark the greatest comebacks for a South African Hip-Hop artist who is dead-set on reviving a genre he claims is dead in Mzansi.
