On Sunday, Eskom extended the suspension of outages to Monday at 05:00, citing “improved generation capacity availability and adequate emergency reserves” as a reason.
The loadshedding schedule will resume on Monday with a pattern of Stage 3 and Stage 4 implemented interchangeably between 05:00 and 16:00, and from then until 05:00 the next day.
Eskom indicated this patterned schedule is likely to remain in place until Thursday, 14 December 2023.
“Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur,” the power utility confirmed.
