Steve Harvey, host of Family Feud, and his wife Marjorie Harvey have recently spoken out in response to unfounded cheating rumours that emerged on social media.
Watch: Steve and Marjorie Harvey dispel cheating rumours
The couple felt compelled to address the rumours and set the record straight about their relationship.
The rumours, which began circulating on social media platforms, suggested that Marjorie had cheated on Steve.
These baseless allegations quickly evolved into comedic memes and attempts at humour, much to the couple’s dismay.
The timing of these rumours was particularly unfortunate, coming shortly after the Harveys had publicly celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in Lake Como, Italy.
Steve Harvey took the opportunity to address the rumours during his appearance at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta, a moment captured by a fan on TikTok.
He directly confronted the audience, stating,
“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine, marriage is fine.”
The crowd responded with enthusiastic cheers, echoing the sentiment that the couple’s relationship remained strong. Steve’s message mirrored his previous remarks on their anniversary when he had shared a video of himself and Marjorie kissing with the caption “Still going strong.”
Steve’s straightforward response to the rumours communicated that he and Marjorie were not only unaffected by the unfounded gossip but were also determined to rise above it.
He humorously urged those perpetuating the rumours to “find something else to do.”

Marjorie Harvey also shared her perspective on the matter, using her Instagram platform to convey her feelings. She posted an image with a Bible verse from the How to Handle Being Lied About devotional by Matt McMillen Ministries.
The accompanying verse, 1 Peter 2:23, read:
“When they hurled insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”
Marjorie acknowledged that she and Steve typically avoid addressing such rumours but felt that their platform comes with a responsibility to counter misinformation.
She emphasised their strength as a couple and their willingness to stand against falsehoods.
In her Instagram post, Marjorie invited her followers to read and share the Bible verse with those who might need encouragement in coping with false allegations.
Steve and Marjorie Harvey have been married since 2007 and have blended their families, showcasing their strong bond and commitment to one another.
