Rapper Quavo found himself in a distressing situation while aboard a yacht in Miami, where he was allegedly involved in a violent encounter with two men who threatened the boat’s captain.

The incident, which occurred less than a year after Quavo witnessed the murder of his nephew, Takeoff, took place on the Miami River, per TMZ.
Allegations of Strong-Armed Robbery
According to reports, Miami police received a 911 call about a possible strong-armed robbery on a yacht docked on the Miami River.
The boat’s captain claimed that the two men became aggressive, insisting on a refund as their rental time on the yacht was ending.
The situation quickly escalated as one of the men allegedly threatened to harm and even kill the captain if the boat was turned around.
Quavo Detained by Police
Video footage obtained by TMZ captured the tense scene as Quavo was seen being detained by police with zip ties. He appeared to be calmly interacting with at least three officers while sitting on the boat deck.

Conflicting Statements and Allegations
As police investigated the incident, conflicting statements arose among those on the yacht. One crew member claimed to witness a man taking the captain’s wallet and cell phone during the altercation, but other individuals on the boat provided differing accounts.
In the course of their investigation, law enforcement discovered two firearms on the yacht. However, it was clarified that the guns were not used in any of the alleged threats during the ordeal.
The Migos rapper’s attorney, Drew Findling, clarified that Quavo was not mentioned in the official police report narrative.
