What to expect from the Queen’s funeral
The ceremony will likely include a procession from Westminster Hall on the State Gun Carriage. Behind her coffin, senior members of the royal will follow silently on foot. The funerals of Princess Diana and the Duke of Edinburgh followed the same tradition.
Further, prime ministers, presidents, and other heads of state will be invited to remember the Queen at Westminster Abbey.

The coffin of her late husband, Prince Philip, will be moved to join his wife of seven decades. Though the remains of Prince Philip, who passed away at age 99 in April 2021, are still at the Royal Vault at St. George’s Chapel.
