Sikander Kalla, a prominent businessman from Pretoria has been kidnapped in what was reportedly a very bloody affair.
Sikander Kalla kidnapped: Here’s what we know
According to various reports, the incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, on Rebecca Street in Pretoria West.
It’s believed that Kalla, co-founder of an Advance Cash n’ Carry wholesalers in the capital, was travelling in a silver vehicle when he was accosted by unknown suspects.

Pretoria police have yet to issue a formal statement on what exactly happened. Therefore, the details around this incident are still very sketchy.
However, we know that Kalla and his driver and associate Imtiaz DK Suleman, were confronted by armed suspects.
Suleman was shot and died on the scene and it’s believed Kalla was abducted.

Brother Imtiaz DK who was driving Uncle Sikander home was shot and is unfortunately no longer with us.
No further details have been released at this stage and at the time of publishing this article, there had been no reports of a ransom letter received by the Kalla family.
