A botched toll hijacking in Tongaat resulted in instant karma for one of the suspects involved.

Tongaat toll hijacking goes horribly wrong for suspect
As reported by Arrive Alive, the incident took place at a toll booth southbound when the driver of the vehicle was confronted by hijackers attempting to rob him.
In the ensuing struggle, the driver was shot in the leg, prompting an emergency response from CERT volunteers and other emergency services.
Victim Shot in the Leg
Upon arrival at the scene, emergency services found an adult male who had been shot in the leg.
Paramedics quickly provided medical attention to stabilize him before transporting him to the hospital for further care under the watchful eyes of Advanced Life Support paramedics.
Swift Response from SAPS and Private Security
In a dramatic turn of events, one of the suspects involved in the hijacking attempt was chased by both the South African Police Service (SAPS) and private security personnel.
During the pursuit, the suspect was shot and ultimately succumbed to his injuries, with paramedics declaring him deceased at the scene.
